Brachycorythis pleistophylla var. leopoldii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah hingga Tanzania. Nama ilmiah Brachycorythis pleistophylla var. leopoldii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Wilhelm Ludwig Kraenzlin pada tahun 1982.
