Brachyglottis repanda merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Selandia Baru, Kepulauan Chatham. Nama ilmiah Brachyglottis repanda pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johann Reinhold Forster pada tahun 1776.
