Bromus texensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Texas selatan-tengah dan tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan texas brome. Nama ilmiah Bromus texensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Cornelius Lott Shear pada tahun 1913.
