Brucea trichotoma merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Simaroubaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Vietnam. Nama ilmiah Brucea trichotoma diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Curt Polycarp Joachim Sprengel pada tahun 1824.
