Buchnera leptostachya merupakan tumbuhan hemiparasit berumur semusim atau menahun dari famili Orobanchaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis Afrika, Madagaskar. Nama ilmiah Buchnera leptostachya pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1846.
