Bulbophyllum scabratum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menempel pada batang pohon lain (epifit) dan membentuk umbi semu (pseudobulbous). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nepal hingga China selatan dan Indo-China. Nama ilmiah Bulbophyllum scabratum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Gustav Reichenbach pada tahun 1861.
