Bulbostylis hispidula subsp. senegalensis merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat. Nama ilmiah Bulbostylis hispidula subsp. senegalensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Henri Chermezon pada tahun 1988.
