Bulbostylis neglecta merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah St. Helena. Nama ilmiah Bulbostylis neglecta diperkenalkan oleh William Botting Hemsley pada tahun 1894.
