Bulbostylis sphaerocephala adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil hingga Argentina (Misiones). Nama ilmiah Bulbostylis sphaerocephala diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johann Otto Boeckeler pada tahun 1900.
