Bulbostylis tanzaniae merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Tanzania hingga Zambia. Nama ilmiah Bulbostylis tanzaniae pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Kaare Arnstein Lye pada tahun 1983.
