Bulnesia retama merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Zygophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Peru, Argentina bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Bulnesia retama diperkenalkan oleh John Gillies pada tahun 1874.
