Bupleurum thianschanicum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Asia tengah hingga Xinjiang barat. Nama ilmiah Bupleurum thianschanicum diperkenalkan oleh Josef Franz Freyn pada tahun 1896.
