Bupleurum thomsonii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Pakistan utara hingga Himalaya barat. Nama ilmiah Bupleurum thomsonii diperkenalkan oleh Charles Baron Clarke pada tahun 1879.
