Burmannia cryptopetala merupakan tumbuhan holomikotrofik dari famili Burmanniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis. Nama ilmiah Burmannia cryptopetala pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Tomitaro Makino pada tahun 1913.
