Burmannia flava adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Burmanniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah kawasan tropis dan subtropis Amerika . Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan fahkahatchee bluethread. Nama ilmiah Burmannia flava diperkenalkan oleh Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius pada tahun 1823.
