Burmannia oblonga merupakan tumbuhan holomikotrofik dari famili Burmanniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah. Nama ilmiah Burmannia oblonga diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Henry Nicholas Ridley pada tahun 1904.
