Burmannia tenera merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Burmanniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Goiás, São Paulo). Nama ilmiah Burmannia tenera diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Gustaf Oskar Andersson Malme pada tahun 1938.
