Byrsonima lucida merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Malpighiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Florida selatan hingga Karibia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan long key locustberry. Nama ilmiah Byrsonima lucida diperkenalkan oleh Philip Miller pada tahun 1824.
