Byrsonima tenuifolia merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Malpighiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Hispaniola. Nama ilmiah Byrsonima tenuifolia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ignatz Urban pada tahun 1901.
