Calamagrostis appressa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah New South Wales (Coast tengah). Nama ilmiah Calamagrostis appressa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joyce Winifred Vickery pada tahun 1999.
