Calamagrostis imbricata merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Queensland tenggara hingga Victoria barat. Nama ilmiah Calamagrostis imbricata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joyce Winifred Vickery pada tahun 1999.
