Calceolaria punicea merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Calceolariaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis. Nama ilmiah Calceolaria punicea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Hipólito Ruiz López pada tahun 1798.
