Calliandra cruegeri adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Karibia selatan hingga Brazil (Roraima). Nama ilmiah Calliandra cruegeri pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis August Heinrich Rudolf Grisebach pada tahun 1860.
