Calliandra glyphoxylon merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Ekuador (Chimborazo). Nama ilmiah Calliandra glyphoxylon diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Richard Spruce pada tahun 1875.
