Calliandra macrocalyx var. acuta adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Bahia timur laut). Nama ilmiah Calliandra macrocalyx var. acuta pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Rupert Charles Barneby pada tahun 1998.
