Calliandra samik merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Peru utara. Nama ilmiah Calliandra samik diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Rupert Charles Barneby pada tahun 1998.
