Callicarpa ampla adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Puerto Rico. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan caparosa. Nama ilmiah Callicarpa ampla diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johannes Conrad Schauer pada tahun 1847.
