Callitriche turfosa merupakan tumbuhan semak dari famili Plantaginaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh di air (hidrofit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Amerika Selatan bagian barat dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Callitriche turfosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carlo Luigi Giuseppe Bertero pada tahun 1864.
