Calochortus aureus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Liliaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membetuk umbi lapis. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Colorado hingga New Mexico. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan golden mariposa lily. Nama ilmiah Calochortus aureus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Sereno Watson pada tahun 1873.
