Calochortus kennedyi var. kennedyi merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Liliaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membetuk umbi lapis. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari California timur hingga Texas barat daya dan Meksiko utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan desert mariposa lily.
