Calochortus pulchellus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Liliaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membetuk umbi lapis. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah California utara (Contra Costa County: Gn. Diablo). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan mt. diablo fairy-lantern. Nama ilmiah Calochortus pulchellus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George Bentham pada tahun 1868.
