Calotesta alba merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Calotesta alba pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Per Ola Karis pada tahun 1990.
