Caltha chionophila merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Ranunculaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) di wilayah Amerika Serikat barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Caltha chionophila diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1901.
