Caltha obtusa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Ranunculaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) di wilayah Pulau Selatan Selandia Baru. Nama ilmiah Caltha obtusa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Thomas Frederic Cheeseman pada tahun 1929.
