Calycanthus occidentalis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Calycanthaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah California utara dan tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan western sweetshrub. Nama ilmiah Calycanthus occidentalis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Jackson Hooker pada tahun 1839.
