Calystegia sepium subsp. appalachiana merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Convolvulaceae (suku kangkung-kangkungan) yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Nama ilmiah Calystegia sepium subsp. appalachiana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Richard Kenneth Brummitt pada tahun 1980.
