Camellia assimiloides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Theaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah China (utara dan Guangdong timur, Hunan tenggara). Nama ilmiah Camellia assimiloides diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Joseph Robert Sealy pada tahun 1949.
