Canastra aristella adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil tenggara dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Canastra aristella diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johann Christoph Döll pada tahun 2006.
