Caperonia latior adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Paraguay. Nama ilmiah Caperonia latior pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert Hippolyte Chodat pada tahun 1912.
