Capsella rubella adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim atau dwimusim dari famili Brassicaceae (suku sawi-sawian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa selatan-tengah hingga Mediterania. Nama ilmiah Capsella rubella pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George François Reuter pada tahun 1853.
