Carduus corymbosus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Italia tengah dan selatan, Sardegna, Sicilia. Nama ilmiah Carduus corymbosus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Michele Tenore pada tahun 1812.
