Carduus olympicus subsp. hypoleucus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Türkiye hingga Iran. Nama ilmiah Carduus olympicus subsp. hypoleucus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph Friedrich Nicolaus Bornmüller pada tahun 1975.
