Carduus pycnocephalus subsp. breviphyllarius adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Corse hingga Afghanistan. Nama ilmiah Carduus pycnocephalus subsp. breviphyllarius diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Peter Hadland Davis pada tahun 1975.
