Carex alopecuroides merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis. Nama ilmiah Carex alopecuroides diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama David Don pada tahun 1823.
