Carex amplifolia adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan bigleaf sedge. Nama ilmiah Carex amplifolia diperkenalkan oleh Francis Boott pada tahun 1839.
