Carex angustata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan widefruit sedge. Nama ilmiah Carex angustata diperkenalkan oleh Francis Boott pada tahun 1839.
