Carex atractodes merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko tengah dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Carex atractodes diperkenalkan oleh Frederick Joseph Hermann pada tahun 1950.
