Carex ayako-maedae adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Taiwan. Nama ilmiah Carex ayako-maedae mulai dipublikasikan pada tahun 2016.
