Carex baccans adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan Asia tropis dan subtropis. Nama ilmiah Carex baccans pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1834.
