Carex bella adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan southwestern showy sedge. Nama ilmiah Carex bella diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Liberty Hyde Bailey pada tahun 1892.
